Title: Beta 36: Squad colors

When we set up our squad in AH2beta arena I had 6 other (non squad) players show up in squad colors, both as dar dots and icon colors.

I talked to 4 other guys who had this same thing happen.

me too.  It seemed that everyone that came from the same airfield as me (like in the same room) showed up in squad colours.  It also seemed to me that the dar settings meant everyone in the arena showed up on dar and not just the airaft in range.  Maybe that was just the arena settings perhaps?

everyone on the same voice freq. in the same country shows as "Squad" color, its now a feture to show you who you are flying with

Exactly, and this was asked for and HT did it. Great addition to the game IMHO.

HT just needs to tweak the code so that those of us that are in squads, that tune vox to "squad", will not see all the other squads that are also tuned to "squad".

It should only highlight those tuned to the same numerical channel, not "Squad" as they are all (hopefully) private to each Squad....  :)

Only if you and others have your vox CH V (5) tuned to 200. Any other channel, I believe, will not change the icon colors.

It is everyone that is tuned to channel 4 (squad) on vox that gets highlighted.  This doesn't mean that they can hear you, just that they show up highlighted on the map and with their icons.  I like that it does it for all the other channels, but hate that it does this for everyone tuned to 4.  I hope that this fixed/tweaked/changed, but will survive if it isn't.

Is already fixed for next release so only tunable country channels show.
