This is an IL2 movie done by the VMF513 - Viper, that depicts the tragic B17 battle over Schweinfurt in April 1944 where Capt Bennet lost his entire squadron. I grab'd this link from the IL2 fourms so to read the posts click the following link. Its an superbly well done movie, and though its a large download with 15 minutes runtime, you won't be let down.

Yea, Horner is right up there with John Williams for best soundtracks. He's done some great films.
-
Absolutely Outstanding.
I know you posted this at the IL2FB page at SimHq right?
If not, do it, those guys would absolutely love this.
-
Glad to see this kind of response guys. Serious.

Hi guys! Just dropping in to say 'thanks' for all your kind words. Producing "Last Man Standing" for VMF513_Viper has been both an honor and a pleasure for me. Viper came to me with the background of the B-17 mission late last year and he knows Capt. Bennett personally. It truly is an amazing story.
Special thanks to Wolfala for posting the link! :aok

Another in a long line of great FS movies.
It's amazing to me that these "amateurs" are making better short films than Hollywood can on a multi-million dollar budget about air combat. Some of you guys out there are brilliant. If you haven't checked out our very own Stream14's videos, please do. He's becoming an outstanding producer of sim videos.

What is the $40 program and will it work for AH?

Ok, next question:
Does anybody have .wav samples of those that can be used as engine start-up sounds in Aces High?
Or, if I bought the soundtrack to "Glory", what would I need to make a .wav sample myself?

there was more then 1 :p
Good film anyway.........

You guys are good.....cudos!

Ok, just 1 critique - the subtitles on the radio transmissions isn't necessary. And it is distracting.
