When in GVs, not sure if it also happens air to air, friendly aircraft shadows occasionally appear in the air and not on the ground. These ghost shadows can be seen doing maneuvers that the plane is doing. I'll try to get a screenshot.
Something else that's strange is that it appears as if the shadows are full 3D models. Not sure about this though, I'll look into it further.
