Title: What program is being used to develop the front end?

The graphics in the front end of AH seem almost vector like, if you know what I mean. They are very smooth, and scalable with no loss in detail etc. What program is this written in? I've never seen anything else that looks quite like that and I'm curious why you chose this approach.

I think they use VisualBasic 3.0
