Title: My AH2 Problem :(

Initialisation failed with -9 mainWLD_Failed -1

Ive updated to the latest Radeon driver and re-installed DX9.0b.

Currently have a 1.7 gig Intell board, C-Media Sound card and Radeon 9800 Pro Vid card (128 meg).

Was running fine before last patch. Now I cant get in there and get the afore mentioned error message.

Any ideas?

you could try deleating the  video.cfg file in ah2 folder and see it that works

Right click on the AH2 icon, select properties, and click on the last TAB.  In here, you have a option for running AH2 in 256 mode.   THIS NEEDS TO BE UNCHECKED.  I have no idea why, but it was checked on mine.  I just downloaded AH2 patch 40(full version) last night, so dont understand why it was checked.  

So, uncheck it and see if this helps.  Good Luck

Forgot, AH2 runs great now.   WOO HOO
