Howdy,
Was scrambling to find a cheap system that will let me play AH2 and I found a 2.4 Intel Celeron with a half gig of ram, ($498 at Walmart) I figure if this will push it I can always get a new video card. So what do you think can it do it?

Just depends if it has an AGP Slot. If this is the one you are talking about, I doubt it would work, could be wrong?
Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics with up to 64 MB shared video memory

2.4 celeron is still good for AH2. Just add more memory (most PCs today have DDR type memory chip and only cost 50+ US Dolars) and get a decent video card:)
note that my 5 yr old POS PC with Win XP, 700mhz, 384 ram, 64mb video memory can still run AH2 beta and get decent fps (20-30) :)

DipStick that looks like the one I saw today, this ad says nothing about an AGP slot but I might be able to slip a PCI Video card in, I have not heard of any conflicts using pci as of yet.

just get a good pci and your fine.

256 MB DDR-SDRAM with up to 64 MB allocated to video memory
256MB is barely enough to run XP let alone the vid card taking away 64MB of memory

System Micro ATX Compaq Presario SR-series chassis
System dimensions: 16" H x 7.25" W x 15.25" D
Expansion slots Three PCI expansion slots (two available)
No AGP

With Windows XP Pro I fly ah2 on a 1.44 athlon thunderbird and currently only 128 megs of memory. Geforce fx 5200 128 meg and forty something odd FPS with all the boxes checked on.
I was flying the game on same machine with a PCI geforce 2 64 meg vid card. PCI will work fine.
