Title: B39 skin loss

Since 39 I keep loseing skins.  After 1 or 2 flights skin is gone...
this happen on 51, 109 g10,and 190 so far.....

I dont know why but it seems somthing is writeing a blank on top of the skin file....

i see the skins but when i fly they dont show up the plane is all white.


System.
Intel Celeron 600mhz
ATI Radeon 7000
156mb ram.

if the skin is showing up white, do this:  reduce the number of textures - on my main machine I am able to run 512 textures.... however on 2 others I had to reduce the textures to 128.  Once I made the reduction, everything was great.  good luck!

It's not the number of textures, it's the size of the textures. More detailed, 512 means 512x512 pixels. ;)

You don't need to change your texture setting. After your first logon in beta 39, fly around a bit then exit to desktop. When you relog the skins will be there. Worked for me anyway :)
