Ok i have a 2.6 chipset, 512b ram and i am droping in a ti4200 video card, will this work good for ah2 or do i need to overclock anything?
-
I am running ah2 fine on a p4 1.8 with 512 ram and a ti4200 128mb card. I hav my fps set to max at 45 and i only notice a little stuttering when textures load. Once this is done, i don't notice any stutters, freezing, or slowdowns. Of course, your mileage may vary.

How old si your video card?

I think I got it sometime last year (I think it was in the spring). It is AGP 8x, whatever the hell that means. It works great for me and what I want. I don't care as much as some about the eye candy (i.e. I don't run any of the anti-aliasing and other gee-whiz visual effects that others do). YMMV

Well mine is going to be bout 3 months old when i get it, i am buying it from a friend, so mine should work good, i hope

I don't see whay it shouldn't. At worst, you may have to tweak some of the settings to get it to run where you want it. I don't think I have changed anyhting from the default settings on mine.

That will work.
In fact I'd expect that system to have better performance in AH2 than your current system does in AH1 given that your current system can't run AH2.
