Post by: Jester on June 09, 2004, 12:28:03 AM
Am going to try and watch the Race.
Looks like a pretty interesting field running this year. They are going to have it live on the SPEED channel this weekend.

Yea, am going to watch LeMans till it is time for the Canadian GP.

I wish they would televise the race where they bring out the old GP cars. Anyone know the name of this race?

Oh man! Le Mans is this weekend?!  Crap!

I'll have to mooch some time at my brother's place I guess.  I forgot to get an appt. for the digital upgrade package for my house.  I meant to do it last year, too, but completely forgot about it.  I'll have to beat my secretary for letting this date slip two years in a row.

I'm going to try and catch some of it. It'll most likely play out like this: I'll turn on TV, realize that Le Mans is running, turn to the speed channel, find out when the TVR died, and lose interest :)

I haven't watched it for years.  Used to love watching the Jaguar XJR-9 and XJR-12 dominate Le Mans in the late 80s/early 90s.  Last time I saw some Le Mans they had the McLaren F1 in it I think?

Remember when that Mercedes took off down the straight and flipped right over?  The driver was from a village a few miles from where I live!  He had a lucky escape!!

Racing overkill this weekend.  Lemans, Nurburgring 24hrs, and F1
guess the lawn needs to wait.

Corvettes are suposed to be HOT this year. They have a new car set-up and are running a new type of tires that make them corner like a tank.

Thanks for that unfortunately I can't get the clip to work.  The viewer shows but if you press play nothing happens.

One accident you should check out (it's offline on that site at the moment) is the Johnny Herbert F3000 crash.  His car cartwheeled along the fencing, absolutely spectacular and he was very lucky to survive!

Anyone got any information on the Track Crash?

Under Motor Racetrack?

I mean it's not marked with a red ! and is apparently gruesome...

It looks like the motorcyclists leg is off, and, ehh, I don't want to say it on here because of younger people, but, do not watch it, no blood, but two guys, and I dunno I just really appreciate it if someone could ellaborate on this.... :(
