...the film found here:  http://www.virtualwarcinema.com/Movies/Last%20Man%20Standing.avi

I d/l it at work (cause I have DSL connect there) then copied it to a CF card and transferred it to my home puter. When I try to play it on my home puter I get the message that there was an error in trying to download the necessary codec. Can someone tell me what the right codec is, and where to find it?

try going to divx.com and downloading their player.  I find it works on just about anything.

do a search for codec packs.....

install and voila.....
