Title: Friday's setup?

Here's the quandary we are in. Do a setup, and it gets lost and is gone for the duration while we migrate to AHII. Or we go ahead and do a new setup and it stays up while AHII gets prepared and debugged for another week.

The option is up to you, but I'd like to see the current setup run until we get to AHII. Once the CT is back online, we'll post the same setup until the following Friday where we'll do a new one.

OR

Post the Battle of Britain this Friday and hope AHII doesn't come until later this week.

Thoughts?

Is it truly necessary to "kill" AHI?

My hardware runs AHI just fine but I have frozen up twice in AHII and I am not the only one to experience this. Also, the sight does not work properly in AHII (I am using a custom sight, AmmoW.bmp, which works perfectly in AHI), the bullets hit way below the center of the sight making it difficult to hit your target. Once again, other people are experiencing this too.

I do not want to upgrade any hardwre at this time and am being forced out of HiTech if AHI is no longer available.

I have:

XP Pro
Pentium 4 - 2 Gig
1 Gig Ram
Nvidia GeForce 2 Pro 64 MB

haven't seen over 20 in CT since the latest AH2 patch

what is the timetable to get AH2 engine into CT? The last patch is smooth for me and the first real playable one.
Would like to try it with a historical setup, kinda tired of phoons and spits killing me in a P38 or worrying about 190's while in a 109....
