after downloading the patch tonight, flew a mission; I noticed tracers on my 6 , but no nmy was there. the tracer thing happened several times, but I figured out that each time I pull up the clipboard I see tracers when I check 6 the first time. I ran the camera if that will help.
On a side note, from the tower I hit help, then configuration, then my pc rebooted.

It's not a tracer, it's the clipboard.
-
Yeah, it's caught me out once or twice.
-
It may be the clipboard, but it looks exactly like tracers firing at me also every time I looked back.
-
It is triggerd by using the clipboard, but even after the clibpoard has been minimized for a length of time the tracers appear when looking aft (and only the first time after minimizing the clipboard); the tracers look like either tracers or a bolt of light about 3 feet (relatively speaking) long. When near a field there are tracers, when away from a field I see the bolt.
-
Its the clipboard.. catches me all the time..
-
Ditto, no extra charge for this feature.
-
LOL it needs to be changed somehow, it freaks me out everytime i use the clipboard.
-
Yes misfit i am with you; its not the clipboard when you look back and see tracers! It may be a bug related to the clipboard, that I can accept, but no minimized clipboard should be firing from outside of the rear of the plane!
-
had same thing happen to me minimize clipboard look right rear oblique you'll see it coming into the cockpit..
It is the clipboard.....look back after minimizing.
-
checked off line, sure enough, there is enough detail to make out the clipboard; I didnt see enough detail on line to make it out. That plus the 1st time I saw it there were tracers, not a side view of a clipboard.
Even still, I hope this bug does not stay long.
-
LOL I thought I was the only one that had this problem. I must say this is a "feature" I could live without. Still catches me off guard sometimes.
-
Look at the clipboard while viewing at 12 oclock.
Put the clipboard away.
Look at 5 oclock and you will see that puppy come screamin' at ya.
Fooled me at first, but am use to it now.
-
Ya caught me too. Should be changed. One of these times it will be real and I will say to myself "It's just the clip board.".
-
heh, first time i saw this i was about to merge with an enemy. saw the clipboard thinking it was tracer fire, and immediately pulled a hard barrel roll, followed by a split s. hah i can only imagine what the guy i was merging with was thinking. I think he ended up shooting me down too.
