I want to build a cockpit of a Messerschmitt 109. I have researched and researched and am almost to the point where I can build the exterior. The Interior however is a different matter. Does anyone know if there exists a home built cockpit of a 109? Or can recomend a good book with pics and diagrams of the cockpit. Thanks for your time
also, check out this site..this has GOT to be the company of any sim pilots dreams.

I have plan to build 1:1 size Fw 190 cocpit (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Pictures of instrument panels are common in many books but dimensions of whole cocpit are harder to find, atleast I haven't found any. I haven't contacted Flugwerk in germany which is building replicas of Fw 190A's, they sure have good plans and drawings.

To my knowledge the best book - and recommended! - is "German Aircraft Interiors 1935-1945" Vol 1 ISBN 0-914144-41-3.
It has many variants pictured rather nicely from the V1 to K4 model + jets.
