Title: XP and soft mods

Supposedly, ATI Radeon 9800SE uses 4 pipelines. Omega offers Soft mods for XP for this card and opens 4 more pipelines. When I install the soft mods, AH AND AH2 starts up and begins flashing a checkerboard pattern with the normal screen. Is this the mods?
AH cannot use the 4 extra pipeline?
Is there a fix?
Or am I restricted to non-mods use?

The reason the chip got shipped as a 4 pipe part is normally due to problems in the othe pipes.  It is a hit and miss proposition when enabling hardware that has been turned off in a chip.

I went online with the mods and everything worked faster, more than ok. AH is my prime game, I'll reload and try some others.
I'll let you know how it goes in a few days, prolly Monday.
