taxi All booked. Bags all packed.

God I really *hate* flying

---- hence the reason for staying up all night, the sheer terror. I'm hoping I'll get into that plane and just collapse and go to sleep.

I'd be really happy to be in a cockpit, but in the passenger seat, it's utterly awful. I just want to wish it away really quickly.

lol........what a phobia, eh?

I was on a return flight from Florida and we... alright, I'll stop.

I just look at every flight as - if we're ****ed, we're ****ed and no amount of anything will prevent that ****ing.

Enjoy!

The GOOD news is that if make all these plane flights I'll be sharing the Olympic box with Jennifer Aniston.

So that's something to look forward to

I sympothise....I HATE FLYING in comercial airlines.  I've been through much stress in my life but none equates to the anxioty I feel from comercial airline travel.

Normaly I dont drink in the morning....but I have no probs w/ hitting the jack daniels at 8AM If i'm boarding an airplane.

Thanks gun....that's why I like evening flights.

Still I've stayed up all night, so I should (in theory) hit the hay when I get on board...of course I wont and will leave imprints of my fingernails on the seat handles.

Hooray, there and back again, and I lived!

Just 3 more return trips between now and August!

phew.

Why don't they schedule B17 flights to Athens? I'd have the time of my life (without the ack, the 109s and the FWs).

Does anyone have any tips about how to get over the fear of flying?

I was fine...

did fall asleep on the way there the taxi though.

It was great! I was so zoned out through check in and the flight...fell asleep the minute I sat down and woke up when they were calling us in for landing.

Thank YOU everyone for keeping me up until the morning.

I knew this BBS had a purpose

There was an actual Airline that had one of their planes insured for more than it's Book Value.   They found out after it crashed.   The Accountants didn't know what to call the 'profit' on the companies Income Statement.   They finally settled on Involuntary Conversion of Fixed Assets

True story....

I find it unbelievable that the hull inusrance value could be overstated.

I'd be interested to know the name of the Carrier, otto.

Believe me, I'd love to, but when you only have a weekend, the options are a bit limited.

I am looking forward to going back to Brussels, though, and this time, I'll warn you in advance!
