Here are my ah2 (and ah1) views, based on an 8-way hat and using a view toggle to obtain 17 views (16 + default straight ahead).
if unsure how to use a second view set (toggle), post and i'll dig up some thread that had the methods before).
for these views... zipped file...
1. copy/move current xxxx.HPS (head position settings) files to a safe place for backup.
2. d/l and extract the linked zip file to your ah2/ah1 (whichever, both) settings folder.

Shane, just wanna make sure I've got this right. In order to back up the current hps in the settings folder, do I need to copy and save each one? There appears to be a hps file for each plane...which would make sense.
Just checkin'
Thanks

to be safe, yeah (i *think* if you simply delete all the .hps files the next time you load AH they'd go back to the default views).
i always sort by file type then do a mass copy/paste (or cut/paste) to a different folder somewhere.

I created a \backup directory off of my \HTC directory.
I simply copy-paste the \settings to the \backup directory. I also do this with my \sounds directory when playing with different sounds.

bumped for redtop and others, and added new zip file to reflect recent plane additions and their views as i have them set up.

also cross-linked with how to set a toggle button to make an 8-way hat give you 17 views (8*2 + 1 deafult staright ahead).

Hey Shane, first off thanks for the files
..
Secondly, I see multiple files for bombers, I assume this has something to do with the guns, if so how does that work? And if I never had a .hps file for a given plane, is that because I never flew that plane, or I never set the positions?
and lastly could u pass on the file that allows me to kill all them planes , like u do? I tried the .killlikeshane command and it didn't work
Thanks again.
