Cool! :D
I think we will see that scene in the new Michel Moore movie..
-
Now I'm confused, which ain't nothing new.
Is that from a scene in Michael Moore's new movie Fahrenheit 9/11?
Les
-
Dont know if it is...
The movie features a video recording that the teacher made when he was reading with the class during the 9/11 attack...
-
Picture was taken during the campaign in 2000.
Good everyone is up on current events.
-
Thanks Holden.

Yep:p

No, the photo is NOT real, and in fact this is VERY old. This is pretty much common knowledge to the reasonably intelligent.

Have a nice day.

they are bush haters, don't confuse them with facts ...
-
how bout this one?? hehe

Thanks Hilts, I thought it might be, but couldn't find the snopes link. I figured it was a quick photo opportunity snafu.
"Here George hold this and talk to the kid so the press can get the photo, we have to get out of here in 3 minutes."
As for the binoculars,

Cant see the link... But no way its saying the pic is fake?? That pis is not fake.. haha
-
They say if it is a real photo, as soon as he saw there was no image in the eyepiece he corrected it, as there is an identical image except that the lens cap is removed.
I am told Ansel Adams once forgot and left the lens cap on. It proves his entire career was a series of idiotic missteps.
-
Are you guys really so stupid?
-
The picture is a fake. Notice to the right of the red circled area. There is an image on the back cover of the book that is a mirror image of the book the girl's holding.
It has been reversed using Photoshop or some other means.

Here's the link.

The guy picked up a pair of binoculars, or they were handed to him, with the lens caps on. He tried to use them and realized thelens caps were on and took them off a second or two later. Big deal.
I've shouldered my rifle and realized the scope caps were flipped down. I flipped the caps up and shouldered it again.
So the guy is just as human as I am.
Your point?
-
Yeah, if you rotate the book he's holding 180 deg the images on the covers wouldn't be oriented as the cover of the girl's book.
-
Yep...it's been doctored.

LOL I love the kneejerk reaction everytime dubya does something silly or is made to look silly. It's the Liberals fault!!!!
Talk about on the defensive..... :rofl
-
I can't remember the last time I looked through binoculars. Dang things aren't good for hunting in the woods. They're hard to see through anyway if you're not used to 'em. Sometimes the effect is the same whether the lens caps are on or not....if the eye relief isn't adjusted the way you see.
Binoculars can be tricky to handle without practice.

You mean when an altered photo is used to illustrate a point by someone. Or that a photo that could be, how to say, out of context is used to make fun or deride a person is pointed out as such, that is defensive?
Those type of images and their use is stupid, it was when it was done on Clinton/Bush/Reagan/Carter/Ford (well maybe not him)/Nixon....etc etc.. it is still stupid now.
-
AH BBS Oclub, or how to turn a funny (old, but still funny) picture into a BORING political slander.
-
Saw,
Shouldn't you be drinking some very good Belgium Beer by this time at night??
BTW, How are things going in Lux? I hope to get back to Brussels soon.
I'll let you know, then maybe we can drag Straffo out of his female ran home, if you're up for it, that is!
-
17:08 here Stringer... am stuck in the office, and no matter how many notes i sent them... they STILL won't allow me to have a fridge with beer in my office
Let me know in time when you come to Brussels, so i can plan ahead... and Straffo won't be able to use his sorry usual excuses...
Lux is great (I live next to a scandinavian bar), I think I'm going to stay here for a while :D

isn't there an exact same "lens cap" picture of both carter and klinton? I don't think they ever noticed tho.

(Predicted response: Sound's like he's borrowing a page from Slick's book)
