It's interesting that you guys need mirrors...  I used the in-game auto update feature and even though I'm in the UK, it took only 6 minutes for the .40 to .41, and 27 minutes for .41 to .42.  I have 1 mbit cable modem and I doubt any mirror could have been as fast as the auto update.

Of course I got the updates at 3am central time, but since it's a weekend there's no reason to download the updates during the usual aol primetime network congestion timeperiod.

Because you could have done the last update in about 7 minutes instead of 27? :)

The last update was something like 25 meg right?  I don't consider a minute per meg to be unusually long, but I also wasn't in a hurry :)
