Actually this one goes back a few versions that I know of.
Spitfire IX, full power, cool engine. WEP will not engage between 16.8k and 19.k. Can recreate this online and offline.

Also, there is a bug in the spit9 rudder on landing. The plane can be perfectly landed but on roll out (stopping) the plane veers to the right, even when brakes applied. Upon stopping, most of the time off the runway, the plane has to be taxied back onto the runway but the left rudder will not work and you can only go to the right. Patch 42. Wizer

Apparently the inability to engage WEP bug stems from the engine loosing a slight bit of power between 17k and 19k. Works fine above 20k and below 17k. Please have a look at this HT & Pyro.

Did you know you have to pull back on your stick now to lock the tailwheel ?
All the tail dragger planes do goofy things on roll out if you don't pull back on your stick to lock your tailwheel. I ground looped a Mossie 3 straight times before I went back and read the patch notes that implemented this change.

Skyfoxx, Thats not a bug, You past the critical alt of low blower, but not yet high enough for high blower to produce more power, than low blower with less map.
Hence you at a full throttle alt where WEP would not give you more power.

Ahhh ok, so that is something new for the Spit 9 in AH2.
