Did I call it or what! :aok I knew Corvette was going to win GTS! WOOHOO!
Was a hell of a race! Lots of action and drama in this one - especially the GTS class. Ferrari put up a good race - Corvette just was able to repair their damage a little better and faster. Pit-crews won this race.
The carema set-up for the race is a PAIN though. They have a French camera crew and English commentators for a entirely different network. Sometimes they would be talking about something and the caera's would be on a totally different subject. They need to bring their own camera's to the cover the race IMO.
Still was pretty good all in all.
OFF TOPIC: Did anyone see the comment they made on the flags? During the night someone took the US flag down from all those flying above the main grand stand. Is that just plain "TACKY" or what?
Anyone notice Michael Moore skulking around the flag poles during the race? :D

Didn't Tom Kristensen win again? Not the GTI class, but the big boys class?

Tom Kristensen earned his sixth victory at Le Mans, equalling the record of the great Jacky Ickx.
Each of the other classes was won by American entrants, which is unprecedented.

One of the 'vetts finished 4th at Sebring this year, a phenomenal showing by the team. Ron Fellows and Jerry O'Connell are gods in the 'vette. Glad to see Max Papis is driving again. The 'vette program is running well and has a good stable of drivers.
Disappointed to see that Andy Pilgrim didn't drive this year - he really impressed me in a Speed Channel World Challenge race at Sebring when he took a Cadillac CTS-V from dead-last (with a 10-second delay due to a faulty clutch) to a 2nd place finish behind a teammate.
No Vipers? That's odd. No Mercedes either. Hmmm.

Vipers are showing their age. Don't see them much anymore. Merc are putting everything into DTM and F1.

I heard one of the comentators say the team that usually runs Vipers had switched over to the Ferrari 550 this year. That was the 3rd Ferrari running on the track in the GTS class - it had white stripes on the hood.
