Since I'm Leaving today and can't take a flag into the airport...

I'll assume you are serious, and try to answer your question. Today, June 14th, is the day set aside to fly our nation's flag in honor of...the flag, itself. It's also the day when old, worn and tattered flags are routinely "retired" with appropriate ceremony. I'm a Boy Scout leader, and on this and other national holidays our troop sets out about 1500 flags. These aren't little flags, either: they're 3'x5' flags mounted on 10' steel poles and placed mostly in residental areas. On some streets every single house has requested a flag: that's really a proud sight to see an entire street lined on both sides with "Ol' Glory".
