Title: Stick stirring
Post by: sax on June 15, 2004, 08:16:39 AM
Has anyone noticed that it seems to work well in AH2 with a high recovery rate when the con seems to be spiraling out of control after doing this?

I've done it once in a P40E, unintentionally after going into a spin (rudder pedals weren't connected!!).  Have had many spins/flat spins in the Mosquito, maybe other spins unintentional?

I've seen this way too much in AHII.

You shoot a plane and then it snaps into a wild maneuver that looks like an out of control spin, making you think you shot off part of a wing or something. Then all the sudden that same plane is back in controlled flight.

I've been doing a lot of flip-flopping in AHII, I seem to loose control a lot faster... every plane feels like a 190-D9 to me now...

Think I need time to get used to it, that's all...

I do this a lot AH II.I recently disabled the stall limiter, and now when I have a con on my 6,and I pull violent acm,I find I lose control more often..lol..but if i'm lucky I evade....if not the con gets a kill without firing a shot...50/50 at the moment..lol.

also blacking out in steep dives in the 190 a5....I've lost more 190's to this than to enme fire!

I prefer the realistic modelling....it's somthing I just have to get used to. :)

I've seen this alot in both AHI and II.

Now when I see it I just keep shooting planes till they sre either burning or explode. just to make sure.
Then I shoot the chute so they think twice about trying it again:D

How are you managing to black out in a dive in the A5?
I've never done that.
