Title: noob vector question (PSP8)

Curved lines drawn as vectors for some reason keep 'filling themselves in' with the secondary color choice.  Why is this?  lol, how can I draw a damn line (not freehand)?

dont know a ton (or anything LOL) about paint shop pro... but at the top i see a drop down list and selected is "AutoTuber"

is it trying to make a "tube" rather than a single line?

thats all i can think of

Never used PSP, but try clicking where my cursor is pointing...

you probably need to assign a null background instead of a red one.
