TWISTED: LA Times Poll Had Sample With 38% Democrats, 25% Republicans
Tue Jun 15 2004 10:13:47 ET
Sen. John Kerry "has taken big lead," according "to an L.A. Times poll."
But the Times poll that showed Kerry "beating Bush by 7 points" has created a controversy over whether the poll's sample accurately reflects the population as whole, ROLL CALL reports on Tuesday.
"Not counting independents, the Times' results were calculated on a sample made up of 38 percent Democrats and 25 percent Republicans -- a huge and unheard-of margin," ROLL CALL claims.

You don't need a lead to become president.
-
Was it supposed to be a national poll, state poll, or city poll?
38-25 might not be too unreasonable a ratio for Los Angeles.

Saur - you realize that your parodying something that, despite all the mocking he took, turned out to be true.... right?

bikekill's oft rEdiculed pre-invasion quote: "Iraq is no threat to the USA, it's just plain rediculous!"
("rediculous" might have even been more mangled... I can't recall).
Ring any bells?
-
neither is iran, syria or n korea right?
take them all out the world be better for it
-
You need to define "take them all out".... it's waaaay too easy of a thing to say.
Take them all out a la Iraq? Yeah... that's been a smashing success.
Take them all out via nukes? Ya think?
There IS no "taking them all out". It sounds macho 'n all... and has been rollin' off the tongues of armchair generals with ease for countless years.... but it doesn't reside within the realm of reality. You just can't go anywhere with a sentence like that.
-
We should go after Syria next, then see if Iran wants to play games afterward.
-
Damn straight. We can always make more body bags.

Was Syria in the original "Axis of Evil" or has it just been called up to play because Iraq is on injury leave?
Or is it Math/Presentation? Does it require at least three to be a proper "Axis"? Is it because now "Duo of Evil" sounds like a ghey S&M pron vid?
... and in order to preserve the term, you need someone to fill in the blank?
-
We are fighting WWIII and not many other nations are fighting with us...yet.

they may come to us, better yet have them settle it themselves:
Iran massing troops on Iraq border (http://washingtontimes.com/upi-breaking/20040615-055649-4707r.htm)

doesnt anyone think a seed of democracy can work in the middle east. Yes I see the news every day and I know that Iraqis are pissed off cause they dont have AC right now but they also know that it is the insergents and not the US troops that are causing this. Not many News agencys are reporting that Iraqi clerics are deploring the attack on GE employees.....they arent stupid. They know that those guys are there to keep the light on so to speak and to help them out.
This whole bush hatred thing has turned the world upside down as far as I'm concerned. Librals hate him so they want Iraq to fail. They are supported by the media in hopes to turn american opinion.....Its just sad.

Yeah, yer average Mideast dude is bracing for the liberal spin before going ape5h!t in the middle of the street over the latest amreekan beheading.

World War 3? Based on what definition?

Personally I don't think it's feasible with the current forces available - 10 divs are not enough to hold down Iraq and begin hostile operations in Iran AND hold a reserve in case the fertiliser hits the windmill somewhere else in the world where the interests of America are threatened.
The draft would of course solve this issue AND give all you boys under 40 a chance to serve your country - it's basically a win-win situation.
-
we just need to use more bombs than ppl and we can have wars everywhere - very quick wars
Nash - you seem back to ur "old self"
everything ok? still taking that wagon ride right?
