Title: New term of endearment
Post by: rogwar on June 15, 2004, 02:01:53 PM
I would have never believed it could be used in that manner....always solicited a highly negative response for me.

Well, if I ever have the need or desire to commit suicide and happen to be out of 12 gage 00 shells, I'll just holler out to the girlfriend..

"you really are a dumb ****"

I suspect it will be quicker and cleaner than blowing my head off.

Term of endearment my fanny.  Sounds like a big CYA now.  Cod people are nuts.

I have heard Brits use the c-word in reference to going out and getting drunk ("I went out and got totally c**ted last night"), but I have never heard it used as a term of endearment.  President Hoffman must be stoned, or doing a really bad job at trying to save her university's reputation.

But, the spokesperson said, because Hoffman is a medieval scholar, she is aware of the long history of the word. She said it was not always a negative term.

Maybe she thinks she's still in medievil times?

I'd be in favor for bringing back the common use of "wench".

Maybe in a moment of extreme sexual passion and orgasmic release when someone would say "Boy that was a great c***!" or "I loved getting to f*** that c***!"

But as a regular term of endearment this stupid president of a major Univeristy should know better than to be that dumb. In fact I am sending this article to my wife to see what she says. More to follow.

My wife who is fairly left of center and usually agrees with you silly liberals (she is improving, living with me is having a positive effect on her) thinks the Hoffman person may be a fry short of the happy meal.

That sounds like a way to start a session of rodeo sex.

LOL, I've called my friends a lot of things, but c*nt was never one of them...at least not as a term of endearment.  "How's it goin, you old c*nt, ya?!"  Hmmm, maybe I'll have to give it a try! :D
