Title: Bomber damage visually transfering to drones after bailout
Post by: Karnak on June 15, 2004, 11:08:12 PM
In Beta 42 I was flying a Ki-67 formation that came under heavy attack resulting in fatal damage to the #1 bomber.  After bailing out the #2 bomber visually showed the same fatal damage, but behaved fine as the damage list indicated.  Sorry about the delay, but it skipped my mind.  I tested it in Beta 44 with JustJim, but the damage did not visually transfer on my FE.  It did do so on his FE however.

Here is a shot from the turret of the #2 bomber with the damage list up, but visually missing the tail:

And a shot looking over the right wing:

1rst pass was targeted at center plane left wing which was removed via 109g10 30's, after bailout damage transferred to now center plane as left wingtip missing.

Pic shown

Second plane the tail was targeted, first pass rudder was removed follwed by complete tail removal on second pass, damage from first and second plane was transfered to 3rd  plane as left wing tip and rudder that seem to be missing on my end and are fine (show no damage) to pilot.

Pictured here.

3rd Plane shows damage from first and second plane (left wing tip and rudder.

Hope this helps.

saw same thing vs a lanc formation... tore up two, and thgen the last surviving plane visually had an entire missing tail section and was flying merrily along.

it took me a bit to realize it must be a glitch and went back to finish the job.

You may not be able to see the wing parts but they're still there to shoot at. :)

That would be me.  It is the hosting service I use to link images.
