Title: WEP not working sometimes in Spit IX

Im having a problem with WEP not working sometimes in a spit.
The engine is cool (not even in the yellow), and I've tried both the joystick button and the keyboard hot key - nothing. Is this something with the spit? At first I thought it was an alt thing, but I've seen it now at all alts. It just won't kick in sometimes and then a minute later it works - all with a cool engine. It might be psychological, but in a fight I want wep :)
