yes new cat driver solved vid problem.
connect still porked tho
my squad CO melkor said i should buy a nec(?) card to hook up the cable modem.
can you tell from the settings in my last post which card is causing the connect problem?
im wondering if its that 3com thing thats sharing irq 22 with 3 other things.
i tried unistalling to see if win. would reassign but it didnt. . . in my bios i see my irq's but i cant,or dont know how, to reassign.i read my asus mb book but it basically has the same description of things as in the bios when an item is selected.
