I could use a little help here.
A squad member has a Dell dimension 2350.
I has one of the Intel Onboard Display Adapters in it.
He bought a Asylum GeForce™ FX 5200 PCI 256 card After we down loaded the Drivers for the new G-Force card and installed them on the PC
we then....
Step1. Uninstalled the Drivers for the onboard card in the Control panel.
Step2. Disabled the Onboard Display adapter in the control panel.
Step3.Shut down the PC
Step4. Installed the New Video Card.
Step5. Turned on the PC.
The Boot sequence was not normal...No beep and no Boot sequence screen. ie. No Dos type window...you know..the one with the black screen and all the boot info in white text?
Windows does start..BUT doesn’t fully load. The Desktop is 1/4 the size of the monitor screen...Not a problem here....cause we could just change the Screen Resolution right? Nope..the start menu is present..but cannot access the control panel from there..Actually it starts the CP..But minimumizes it on execution and wont maximize it when clicking (restore). from the task bar.
Could use some help if anyone has some ideas. Thanks.
PS...Cant even git it to Stop on CMOS either. (pressing the Delete key on boot up.

Just out of curiousity, did you disable the onboard video? Most of these onboard chips have either an enable/disable setting in the CMOS, or a jumper switch to disable. My guess would be the jumper.
