Looks great!  I can hardly wait.
Now, one note about the tank in those screenshots: is the turret always pointing straight forward for a reason?

funked - that's a graphical glitch that I think affects all planes in AH (certainly the F4U). It's common in several games though, and although it spoils the look of the game in external view I guess it's not that serious a bug - more annoying are the graphical artifacts that pop up when panning in the cockpit when zoomed in...
