I found two things wrong with H2H or atleast on my system. I can't change any settings when trying to host H2H games. Whatever the default value is for a setting it will not change at all. I used to be able to change them by repeatedly changing the setting until it stayed. Sometimes it will change and I will save/load it but dosen't take effect and when I come back to arena settings it back to the default value. Ok lets say I can host games when ever someone tries to connect to my computer it will just restart the pc. I hosted a game for me and my friend to practice in and everytime my computer would restart right as he joined the room. I running Windows 2000 SP4. I had some run ins with viruses and worms so I format and did a clean install and still no go.

I after clicking and reclicking on settings I finally got those to stay but everytime I host I get a cold rest. On blue screens or anything. It is basicly like I I am hitting the rest button on my pc. I just tried to host. After about 15 minutes of playing I saw someone come in then bam it rests the computer. This is real annoying. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

No idea what kind of modem you are using...
Are you running a cable modem thru USB? Or a NIC card?
Here is the Microsoft page for that error:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/prmd_stp_ottj.asp
Try re-installing your modem drivers/NIC drivers. Since it only happens when someone connects to your host, I'm guessing it's not video/sound drivers. But if all else fails, try re-installing them to.
If you are running a cable modem thru USB, try leaving the USB cord plugged into the computer but unhooking from the modem. Then restart the computer and hook the modem back in.

I am using a Zyxel ADSL modem through a nic. I'll try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for it to see what happens.

OK, found out the problem. I forgot to install SP1 after I installed Windows Xp the other day. It fixed the restart but still ahev a problem with getting settings to stick.
