Title: Fat Drunk Bastards
Post by: Creamo on March 10, 2000, 09:30:00 PM
The Links page has some useful information. I browsed alot of the squad pages today, and found some very interesting content.

One squad really stuck out above the rest.(Not counting the greatest online squad of course, the Dickweed Heavy Bomber Group who's ranks boast the most real aviators and aviation mechanics of any online squad! :0))

If ya get a chance, go visit the Fat Drunk Bastards page. Some of the more uptight folks may find a hidden message there.
 http://fdb.50megs.com/ (http://fdb.50megs.com/)

Here's a clip from the opening page.

"Never before in the field of human conflict was so little owed to so few that weighed and drank so much." -- Some famous guy.

FDB is an Aces High squad dedicated to liberating all stores of alcohol and hotwings from enemy occupied territory. We also try to combat whining and silliness on all fronts by shooting down those guilty of such crimes and ignoring their forthcoming complaints. While the enemy is strong, we the obese shall prevail through high alcohol and caloric intake combined with general indifference. Long live the inebriated and portly!

That's fricken beautiful man...freakin BEAuuuutiful. (sniff) God bless those Fat Drunken Bastards.

Cheers,

Creamo

Lol, thanks for the compliment, Creamo.  Not trying to steal you from your squad, but -- having laughed at your posts in the past -- I have often thought that you'd fit right in (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

And we love you too, Torque.  I'm glad your on our side.  Not only are you an excellent pilot, you also piss people off to no end  <S>!

The nicest people in the world by my estimation have been Fat Drunk Bastards.  Drunk or sober, Fat or Skinny there's something lovable about a drunk, I know I've been one.  However, after many years I've found that it's much more comfortable to me to be sober!  Just in case some of the FDB might be interested, try this link http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org (http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org)  it may teach you the joys of being a Fat Sober Bastard.

The FDB's are a pretty good group.  I really love their webpage.  Any group of guys that loves beer and hot wings is ok with me.  Beer and hotwings are gifts from God.  Plus they have great squad rules.  No whining.  No shooting chutes unless you feel like it.  These are rules to live by.  <S> to the Fat Drunk Bastards!
