Title: Right Click Clipboard Inop Inflight
Post by: DAVENRINO on June 19, 2004, 11:13:18 PM
Right-clicking clipboard works in the hangar and tower but not inflight.  I installed a new hardrive today so OS, drivers and full version of AH2 are all fresh install.  All ATI Panel sliders to max quality with AAx4.  Game sliders are max detail, 3/4 size/distance, 1 texture load and 1024 textures using 146 of 260 megs video ram.  Game play is fluid with awesome graphics and NO CTD today.:D

I have the same problem.  I have posted a few times about it, but have yet to get any reply. Hope you have more luck.

It is as you said.  Works fine in tower, but while in any vehicle you can't bring up clipboard options by right clicking on the map.

MS and anyone else with this problem,
Skuzzy suggested I rename my settings folder and launch the game offline to see if it worked and it did.  My jsmap.config file (also imported from AH1) somehow got corrupted and caused this problem in AH2.  Problem solved thanks to Skuzzy.

I did have this problem until HT pointed me in the right direction.

Basically if you have previously mapped your mouse in AH1 you need to undo this for AH2 right click on mouse to work.

In my case i had mapped the mouse to enable mouse look in AH1. This involved holding the right mouse button down while calibrating the mouse and joystick.

To cure in AH2 ff this is your problem go into AH2 control settings and unmap mouse from view pan etc.

Mine is working fine now, but I am still curious why it didn't work since I never mapped the mouse - look.  I had my TrackIR2 toggle the pan mode with a throttle button.  Anyway, deleting the jsmap.config file and remapping buttons/axis fixed mine.
