I have done eight films, another commin up this summer (if I ever read the script  )
But I have had a few people tell me I'm full of it, no, I really am an actor, just not a rich and famous one, although I do get the occasional fan mail from wierdos :(

Use a little imagination. He`s "acting" like they do.
............... I sure hope the follow up posts don`t have anything to do with scorpions or flying secret missions for the CIA. :D

Funny I was in an indie movie and played the same character, they even had me play "Dueling Banjos" on the guitar during the scene.

You didnt used to have an AOL screen name of "Starve2act" or something like that did you?

Cool, there are a couple actors/singers working at the gym where I work at. Both of em are great looking and have awesome voices. Just a matter of time till they hit it big, then I can say "I knew em when".

Congrats, twitchy. You even have an entry on the Internet Movie Database for your role in "Sinkhole." Now it's time to submit some headshots and biographical information under an assumed name so movie producers think you're really successful with a large cult following.

If you coulda got in Slingblade you'd be famous.

I wish I could say it was regular work, I usually average a film a year, but so far only two of them have made into main stream distribution... But if you see one of these, buy lots of copies :)
Hitech, if you ever need talent for an advert :D

I'm sure there's a listing on IMDB. What is it?

Hey Twitchy, make sure you remember us when you start acting with A. Jolie :D

I know you guys are busting his chops, but remember, there's good money to be made being a character actor.
Some guys who's faces you recognize but who's names you don't know:
M. Emmet Walsh
Brion James
Joe Turkel
James Hong
They all had parts in one of the greatest movies to come out of the '80s, but you don't even know their names (well, except maybe for Walsh). If Hollywood wanted an actor to play a particular stereotype, they called one of these guys. If you saw James Hong you'd say "Hey, that's they guy from "Seinfeld", you know, in the Chinese restaurant one!"
Jack Elam is another actor who was a character actor in Westerns and became somewhat famous as he got older and got roles in different genres, including light comedy work.
If you find a niche for yourself, exploit it until you can get an opportunity doing something else. If the "crazy redneck" thing works, use it!

I'm not an actor but I play one on TV.
