When I start up I get this light blue screen and the menu has all htese weird icons moving around. btw this is in 2.0. Any help is appreciated

intel pentium 4 2.4ghz
512mb ram mobilty radeon 7500 direct x 9.0b
I use a laptop to play, if that's a problem

i can play ah1 fine, but not ah2

The mobility 7500 should be able to play AH2. Make sure that you have the latest drivers (reinstall everything if necessary), and make sure you have DirectX 9b installed. If you're running W98 you should consider upgrading to XP.

When you say you can't install the lastest video drivers, how come you can't ? ... that is the part that I don't understand.

Explain why you can't install the video drivers.

I went to ati.com and went to my video card, but told me I have to go to my retailer or some some crap like that. My video card is mobile radeon 7500 for Vaio grx600 series.

This is not rocket science. You should be able to download drivers.

Lost: Need a few specifics.


Try the following.

1. Remove the  settings folder from your Aces High II folder.

2. Start up Aces High II.

3. In the AH video setup choose the same resolution as your desk top, and select 256 max texture size.

4. Now what do you see. Any messages from AH?
