Or do other countries have little flags protruding from their cars at the moment (during some football event )? :)

During the college (American) football season in the fall, we do it in the US too.

We're having this today as well here... but it's the Duke's birthday today... guess that happens only once a year.

luxemburg --> Grand Duche (dunno how to translate this... the local "King" is a Duke)

We have it here too, it was popular here before it took off in England. Plus county colours are flown for Gaelic matches. They also repaint entire cars in the national colours.
I just wish I had to concession to sell those flags. I'd be rich!:aok

Yeah I've seen a few cars here painted white with a red cross on the bonnet (hood?). Seems a bit extreme to me. :)I just wish I had to concession to sell those flags. I'd be rich!:aok
LOL, yeah.... dam things are all over the place. I wouldn't mind, but the rest of the year most of those people displaying English flags at the moment probably wouldn't recognise an English flag if they fell over one. :D

I was in Manchester, really Chester, last week and saw those on a lot of the cars.
Thank God for the English comeback in EURO 2004 !!!

Yes fair weather fans. At least the flags are claimed back from the extremists. At one stage the Irish flag only seemed to be flown by Republicans, Irish Republicans that is. Thanks to a certain Englishman, Jack Charlton, it became respectable to fly the Irish flag again.
I even saw an English flag flying on a British van in Dublin today.
Pity Ireland didn't qualify. Flags fly everywhere particularly on my road because the Brian Kerr the Irish manager lives a few doors down. For some reason the press keep knocking on our door thinking he lives at this address. I wind them up saying he's not doing interviews today :lol
