Just wanted to put my 2 cents in..
First, I heard of this game last night while playing AW3. I tried it tonight for the first time and I must say I think it's going to blow AW3 away! This is really a great game and I think someone is finally listening to the players! Thanks!
The cost of $30 is probably cheap for those of you who played warbirds, but for AW vets like me, it's rather high. I'm not saying it's not worth it, I'm just saying that at this rate, you'll get some AW customers, but if you had, say a $15 for 40 hours/month or something like that, you would get ALL AW players here, lol! This is the only thing that will keep me from playing. The game is great, much more than I expected, and has many features that I always wanted in AW. The only shortcoming is the planeset, but I hear there will be more. If you keep this going, and maybe drop the price just a little, you guys have a gold mine here. I really believe that.
Anyway, thanks again for listening to the online gamer, and providing a game, that, even in the beta stages, is funner, more reliable, and more realistic that anything I've played online yet!

LOL Popeye!
In regards to the poster, I can remember playing AW when it was $5.00 an hour(something ridiculous like that) back in late 80's, early 90's. Had a bunch of serious flight sim enthusiasts at that price. I can show you visa bills of $200+ for WB's. I used to go shoot pool and eat out twice a week prior to my flight sim days, Cost:$60-$80 a week x 4=$320/month. Now I stay home and fly, $30 a month is a drop in the bucket compared to what I used to spend for entertainment after work hours.
I also believe the integrity of the community has a slightly higher standard with a higher price, than that of one (AW) which my 6 year old nephew could afford.
