 Why dont the light bulbs work correctly? All the other UBB based boards show an unlit bulb if there are no new posts,this one always shows the bulbs as lit.

I'd guess it's done with a cookie or something.  Maybe it's the cache of files on your end.  Then again, it could be cosmic interference.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

 Nope-not my cache,I even went into DOS and deltreed tempor~1,history,and cookies. Look at the announcements-last post was after new version came out on 10-13-99 and I still see the symbol for new post.

Funny you should mention those little lightbulbs - mine weren't there at all when I pulled up UBB this morning.  I'll take a look.

Oz "lightbulbs" have always worked, but the red/yellow folders to indicate new posts in the category itself have NEVER worked.  (Worked jsut fine over at Argo's tho, last time an oz were there.)  Cookies enabled, deleted the cookie and reset preferences.  Occasionally it shows the last 20 days post instead of last 2 like my prefs state, but it will not neccesarily do it for all categories. (IE5)

Both lightbulbs and folder colours are working here.
IE V..uhh... new. ( 5 I think )
