An old friend and expert bomber pilot mentioned he was having problems with the guns since the new game came out. This guy has always been able to hit just about anything he shoots at. I just went in and tried to set the convergence on a B17, and not only could I not set it further out than 650 yards on the first try, when I tried again, I couldn't set it beyond 525. When you try to set it for less than 250, the numbers disappear under the chin and can't be read. Also, the chin gun appears to be the only one on which convergence can be set. Does this mean all guns will/must have the same range?
After doing some tests at different ranges, my expert bomber pilot friend found that all his guns are shooting to the right and left of where he aims. I have several screen shots he took of a targe at different distances, if anyone is interested in seeing them. Just let me know where to send 'em -- they're pretty large, and need to be to see the detail.

I don't know that convergence itself has changed as all bullets do seem to meet at 1000 yards in both AH & AHII. Aside from the gunsight being off to the side a little bit, comparing offline targets between the two systems is pretty similar.
The part that has changed (at least in my offline tests) is buffs have lost range on the guns. AH does not seem to record hits after 1400+ yards while AHII now stops the bullets from a B17 at 1100+ yards.
I too have noticed a different feel to the guns and I'm wondering if the maximum distance the gunners can shoot has been reduced, should the convergence point come in some too??
