Title: Joystick probs in last 2 patches
Post by: tblunt1 on June 25, 2004, 12:28:24 AM
Since the last 2 patches, my sticks bad bad sensitive, recalibrated tons of times, uninstalled and reinstalled ah2 and nothing seems to help.
What it does, is i barely move it left, when I let it recenter, it jerks way off to the right. I start shooting in a M16 and it veers off to the right etc.
Anyone else had this happen and how to fix it?

Download the latest drivers for your stick, or peds in your case Waffle, and that should fix the problem.

Dunno, they constantly update. You will have to check CH's website.

I just use a basic Wingman attack stick since I mainly do GV's, rarely fly. They don't have new drivers for those and per the read me file from them when I did install their newest "profiler" software, they said no drivers made , use generic windows Se drivers.
Before the past 2 patches, never had a problem and I played beta33 to release.

tblunt,

This may be too basic, but do you calibrate in Windows before you calibrate in AH? If you don't, Windows overides AH and everything will be screwy.

Before you start AH:

Go to Settings>Control Panel> Game Contollers (Win XP) or Gaming Options (Win 98) click on your joystick, properties, and go thru the calibration process.

Click ok all the way out. Then start AH and check your calibration there.
