In another thread I was discussing the comparative lethality of the planes in AH, and thought I would post them in a seperate thread so that other interested pilots could see the data.

 ***********************
Using Shaw's Lethality formula +Plus explosive component, and assuming a conservative 50% of explosive energy from cannon shells is applied to an airframe, you get the following Lethality in kilo-Joules from the planes in AH so far.

 Me109G10------------------------- 3309/2136/1924/750
 (30-x2(20)/20-x2(20)/30/20/)
 Fw190A8-------------------------- 2773
 Spitfire IX---------------------- 2105/1852
 (.50/.303)
 N1K2-J--------------------------- 1512
 La-5fn--------------------------- 1373
 P-51----------------------------- 1322/881

Or if you assume that the x6 .50MG's P-51 as the standard firepower of 1.00 you get the following

 Me109G10------------------------- 2.45/1.58/1.42/0.55
 (30-x2(20)/20-x2(20)/30/20/)
 Fw190A8-------------------------- 2.05
 Spitfire IX---------------------- 1.56/1.37
 (.50/.303)
 N1K2-J--------------------------- 1.14
 La-5fn--------------------------- 1.01
 P-51----------------------------- 1.00/0.65
 (x6MG/x4MG)

				Verm,

Are you saying this is how AH models lethality or how it should be modeled?

 ko

This is approximately how it should be modeled. All the data came from historic numbers.

I have nothing to do with the creation of the game and am just a player myself.
