I just finished reading in another post that Mr. Moore's film is doing well in NYC. That is further confirmation that NYC is overwhelmingly populated by dimwits. I suspect that the largest markets for this "documentary" will include L.A. and San Francisco. Congratulations to that gelatinous mass of overindulgence who is full of socialistic drivel and to his countless number of imbecillic supporters. I have not seen the film nor do I believe I could sit through it, pure demagogary no doubt. No one who is for making substantive change in our culture will pay to view Mr. Moore's latest work. He is preaching to choir as it were. Neither he nor any other liberal extremist matter in the least. The pendulum is swinging, November is coming. We will increase our number of seats in the senate and the house and we will flood the judiciary with candidates that will reverse all the stupidity put forth by the social experimentation liberal criminals going back to LBJ.

Just a guess but you prolly need to wipe all the spittle off yer screen and do somethin' about that busted vein.

I think they're annoying. I don't think they're important enough to be an influence though. ;)

ok text/grammer nazi here.
even when i rant i add paragraph breaks
alwaus a blank line betewwen. text on a moniter is just too hard to read in one long string. on a printed page it is easire.
on topic. yes MM is a boob of society. a worthless hangnail on the pinkiy toe of humanity. somehting that needs to be clipped off, even though it may bleed like a stuck pig for a few minutes, it will be better in the long run.

ok hmm ..
the bleed like a stuck pig was an ananlogy to the liberal media outcry if MM was in any kind of trouble or precarious spot, like being made a fool and exposed for the tool that he is, trying to sway opinion to his way of thinking no matter what the consequences are, or what things he has to fabricate.
imagine proof comming out of the lies he spews. the media would clamp it down so fast you would almost never see it. but what if it was so blatent that they HAD to report it? they'd whine untill the universe collapses about how he was "set up" or something along that lines. or they would claim ther is "some" truth to what he says, like there is truth to the story of icarus & daedalus.
because we all believe that. of course we do.
there are very few beings that i would seriously wish physical harm to, mainly terrorists who kill innocent civilians, and the like.
but hey, leave it to a tree hugger™ to twist my words into a threat or whatever. stoping that is like asking a polar bear to play nice with my pet kittycat.
-
Moore doesn't let the whole truth, or complete picture get in his way.
Many of the things he has said with this movie have already been challenged and disproven.
Al Franken needs to add another liar to the book.
Anyone who believes either Moore, or any politician (Rep or Dem) is a fool.

i mean i have seen him live and he "can" be t3h funnay. but he is almost a desperatly liberal ad MM, and in a disturbing, try to be your friend with humor, no you dont really see the political themes, agree with me because it's fun kind of way.

Honestly, as much as I detest the man and his agenda, I've always been entertained by his work, and for this reason I'll see F9/11, and likely laugh through most of it, and leave feeling I got my money's worth.
Life is truly in the end about entertaining oneself, so wtf, screw him and his left wing studmuffin opinions, just go see the film and say nice things about it to co-opt your liberal friends into thinking you're on their side.

CHICAGO June 25, 2004 — Illinois Senate candidate Jack Ryan dropped out of the race Friday amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days.
The campaign began to come apart Monday following the release of embarrassing records from Ryan's divorce. In those records, his ex-wife, "Boston Public" actress Jeri Ryan, said Ryan took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans and tried to get her to perform sex acts with him while others watched.
Ryan was a political neophyte when he got into the race a millionaire investment banker who had left business four years ago to teach at an all-boys parochial school in Chicago. He spent $3 million of his own fortune to win the primary.
With his good looks and Harvard background, Ryan was seen by many as the party's best hope for revitalizing the Illinois GOP. The party lost control of the governor's office and nearly every statewide office two years ago in the wake of a corruption scandal involving then-Gov. George Ryan, who has since been indicted. He is not related to Jack Ryan.
During the primary, Ryan waved off rumors of damaging sex allegations in his sealed divorce records, assuring state officials there was nothing in the file to worry about.
In quitting the race, Ryan lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.
How dare the public know his background and what kind of guy he really is. :lol

I believe that as the world's only super power it is encumbent upon you to follow the rules. Anyone, any country, in a postion of superior strength who does otherwise, will face a backlash of negative response. This current administration launched an illegal, immoral war. This kind of unilateral action is not 'independent thinking' it is nothing more than lawless aggression. IMO history will record George W as the worst president of your great nation, and these four years, your darkest.

Disagree. Yes they WERE a symptom. Now that they can spread their influence across the country on tv for all the young girls to emulate they became a cause.

If **** *** are immortal words, it's got nothing to do with yer veep.

Y'all are just tired, angry and frustrated.
I feel your pain.
Now leave.
mmmpppht..... :D
-
I don't think he was tired or angry. Sounded like he was being badgered with snide questions and sarcasm. I think his response was appropriate. As was mine.
A bit more info:
"Part of the problem here is that instead of having a substantive debate over important substantive policy issues, he had challenged my integrity, and I didn't like that. But most of all I didn't like the fact that after he'd done so, then he wanted to act like everything was peaches and cream."
and:
When asked what the reaction was from senators who overheard the conversation, Cheney said he thought several of his colleagues "felt that what I'd said badly needed to be said, that it was long overdue."

Be careful of the words you say, keep them soft and sweet; you never know from day to day which ones you'll have to eat.
I sure don't know who's going to win in November. I think it's going to be too close to call unless something unusual/beyond control happens.
But I do see a lot of guys that better love the taste of crow if Bush does win.

I don't know what it's telling you.
Do you see as many people taunting the pro-Kerry crowd?
There's a few, but in my informal reading of this, there's more taunting from the Demo side than the Rep side.
Either way, I'm sure the crow will be served.
Note, btw, that I don't participate in the taunting.

For sure. One thing you have to admit the left has perfected and the right is blind too.. is the fact that if you whine, *****, moan and complain long and loud enough, people will begin to believ the most obvious of lies.
-
I've also said all along that it will be a close race. However, I'm more than willing to do some taunting if Bush wins and will probably hang my head in despair if he doesn't. Should that happen then feel free to heap on the torment. I'll bear it like a martyr. Guess that means I'll get the 72 virgins right? ;)
-
don't be ridiculous.
since '98 or so on up to the present the lines have been pretty clearly drawn on this BBS.
Do I see as many people taunting the Kerry crowd? Is that supposed to mean anything?
The Neos (insert your name here if u want) have been runnin' up and down this place like it was a field trip to kindergarten. But you didn't notice that, I suppose. You merely looked at this one thread and, based on it, declared that the demos might be in for crow?
Go ahead and say you are above it, and that you aren't biased already. When I finish cutting out neat shapes of orange paper I'll meet you in the fort.
-
Having a bad night are ya?
In this election period, on this BBS, I've seen more taunting from the Kerry side. Maybe because they think it's a lock or whatever.
Yeah, there's mouthy guys on both sides. Yeah, I see it. I'm seeing more of it on one side than the other with respect to this election.
Biased? Like I've always said, I believe in responsibility/accountability. To a lot of people that apparently pigeonholes me as a Republican. That would be a problem with their perception, not my "bias".
Above it? I work pretty hard not to sling the ship that's all too common here.
Have fun at the fort and don't forget to use the rounded scissors.
I'm going to hit the sack.

When you wake up maybe you can explain:

Somehow, I think one could easily say the zact same thing but replace "Bush" with "Kerry".
You don't.
This wouldn't be an issue if, say, Storch-oh-my-god-my-nose-is-bleeding-!!!- said it.
But unlike Storch, you pretend at objectivity. Who you tryin' to kid?

at the republican con cheney will retire because of "age and health" and john mcaine will be the repub VP canadate, and the neo-libs will go crazy.

actually that won't happen... But if Bush gets re-elected, half the people in his admin are gonna walk. They don't do it now only because it would be bad form. It's a given that Powell and Cheney are gonna be gone. Add Rummy to that pile. You won't even recognize the joint.

Yesterday on cnn i saw that Kerry had 48% and bush had 49%. On this BB it seems that there is ALOT more bush supporters (counting only americans) than Kerry supporters.
Why is that? Is a wargame more likley to see republicans or does the republican side "scream" more?. Maybe the republican side feels they need to defend themselves from foreigners too?
Ive been wondering about this for awhile.

I saw "Roger and me" on IFC a while back. Mr. Moore is a hack and a bag man for the extreme liberal left and representative of all that is wrong with America. He can be humorous and some of his antics were funny but at the end of the day he is a pinhead. It's like the three stooges, they are funny but see one and you've seen them all. Clearly material for the "lights are off and no one's home" type of people, the pinheads. "Birds of a feather flock together".

actually polls don't mean much in either direction. has anyone ever participated in a poll? I did. The way the questions were asked clearly showed that they were attempting to make the numbers indicate a foregone conclusion. I questioned the poll taker to the point where she just hung up on me. I guess she wasn't perpared for someone who wanted to question the questions, liberals. It was a gallup poll.
-
Oh... here the polls are not done to lead you any were, but to get the facts. I know how to lead people in one direction or another so bells would ring if i would hear leading questions.
In this case the question would be: Who will you wote for: A) Kerry or B) bush. They would ask a random set of people form different demographics.
Why would they complicate such an easy question?

The poll I was questioned in asked stuff like what radio station did I listen to. Did I read the print media, which ones, what was my primary source of news, did I "feel" President Bush's policy the choice was the from lame to catastrophic great wasn't one of the choices. stuff along those lines.
I actually don't know what end they were attempting to achieve but it was very vague and clearly left leaning so I started asking my own questions like why do you think that question was phrased that way? Are you doing this merely for money or are you also politically motivated? are you better off today than you were four years ago?
I think I used up all her allowed time and she hung up. But up until the last question I answered concerning how I "feel" about something to do with the Bush admin I had no clue what the poll may have been about.
Tricksy liberals.
-
We get those kinds of poles all the time to storch but then their goal is something else like marketing. When we have political poles just before the elections the question is simply "what party (we don't vote for individuals here, only parties) will you vote for" and maybe they ask you why aswell with a set of options to choose from.

One probably could. One might, depending on one's mood when one read a particular post. One just never knows, does one?
My objective view is that there's been a bit of a sea change.
When Bill was in the Reps were clearly more bitter and continually sniping. The Dems, of course, tut-tutted at the horrible attitude and demeanor.
Now the shoe seems to be on the other foot and It seems to me that the pot and the kettle are almost exactly the same color. Neither side is particularly refined or genteel when they feel it is "their inning".
Tell you what. You go back and document all the mean spirited things the Reps have said about Kerry. When you're done, I'll document the mean spirited things the Dems have said about Bush. Set a 60 day window. Ready, Set, Go! Post your results in this thread.
Who am I trying to kid? Why YOU of course, Nash! I've devoted my life to it, continually trying to slip posts past the absolute Sherlock Holmes of the AH BBS. Curses! Foiled Again!
