Looks like a Dornier 24 to me in Dutch colors, circa 1938.

Interesting catalina photo as well
During WW2 there was a catalina depot/base near my parents in Northern Victoria in  Australia on a large inland lake. There is still one of the planes on display there as well. I believe they kept POWs there to

Since the picture says dornier 24, even I coulda guessed that. ;)
