Title: text buffer lag, and now, constant CTD's

ok... i came on tonight, got the patch4 patch that wanted to install, and installed ok.

i played for a bit but had a really annoying text buffer lag thingy. Id type something, and it would pop up 5 seconds later.......

so, i rebooted thinking it might be my system...maybe it is, since

a: i got a virus this morning that my crappy Virus "protection" did nothing about, just told me i had it
b: when i "shut down" now, my pc doesnt shut down, it restarts..... not such a problem since i dont really turn my pc off....but...grrrr


anyway, now, AHII wont even run, as soon as i get into the game, like the tower of somewhere, i CTD. Both Offline, and online :mad:


ARRRRG i want to play since im leaving for a holiday in 24hours :mad:

you need to turn off any firewall or virus check running because
it recognises the latest patch as a new program.

Take a deep breath and keep repeating to yourself "They are trying to help"
As im certian you along with 99% of the AH community know that Virus scan and Firewall are NME #1 in Online gaming. As the are VERY Taxing on system resources and spam programs like mad.
I wont bother irritating you by stating the obvious. But i will say....I had 6 CTDs in a row with Patch 4
5 each and everytime i hit runway. And 1 when i joined a buddys fighter...i was able to ride along till he engaged a niki.. right after he killed the NIK...i CTDed. All this happened in about 1 hour. :(

hmmm maybe its not that then thinking about it since patch 4
i have ctd at least 3 times once loosing 40 perks

ok the CTD's was to do with me going to the tower at A2 on connecting....seems A2 just crashes

offline it crashes i think due to the map (the island one)

the txt buffer lag....its wierd, the longer i play the less it is i think.

im back to AHI quality now though, kinda sad :(
