Why don't you check Alienware (http://www.alienware.co.uk) ? High quality components, different warranty plans and their systems are adaptable to your needs/desires.

You may be better off going to your local PC builder and having a serious chat.

At that price point, I'd expect a dual-CPU machine, or a P4EE or Athlon 64 FX-53, top of the line graphics, and a big LCD monitor.
