Title: Problems with Saitek X45 and AH2
Post by: SG1_Gunkan on June 28, 2004, 01:19:44 PM
I got problems with SaitekX45 and AH2. This is like a Knightmare, specially the "don't move controls so rapidly". Is not my fault, my joystick -in the control screen- is not fix, the values, are changing from -356777 to -356778 in rapid succesion. If i try to use the rudder in the take off, the "don't move control so rapidly" works and i go outside the runway.

Another problem -much more annoing- is that the stick response is very bad. I need to go with the plane trimmed or with the combat trim in order to fly straight.

I know is everything my fault. But don't have any kind of problems with IL2, for example, or Lock ON (but i had the same problems with WW2 Online).

I recalibrate the joy several times, i set several configurations, but nothing works.

Help please. ¿Am i condemn to play IL2 Forgotten Battles forever?

My first suggestion would be to contact EAGLER - he seems to know everything about the X45 and has answered many questions for me.

My 2nd suggestion would be to make sure that the two trim wheels on the throttle are set in the middle (feel the little indents...)  if not, they do wierd things to your settings.

Also, you could download EAGLER's profile for the X45 and make sure that you run the profile setup for that before starting AH2.  I did that, and it solved a lot of my problems.  You can rpobably find Eaglers X45 profile by doing a search - I can't remember off hand what forum it was posted under.

Hope this helps!
