Title: WW2 Aircraft Gun Effectiveness
Post by: Tony Williams on June 28, 2004, 04:23:12 PM
I have updated the article on WW2 aircraft gun effectiveness, to consider some of the criticisms made of the original study and to add some comparative ammunition photos. See: http://www.quarry.nildram.co.uk/WW2guneffect.htm

Very interesting Tony, thanks for sharing!

BTW, have you a photo of 40mm Vickers to compare to the 37mm?

Thanks Tony,

I followed that thread over at AGW and am glad to see you address the points that were brought up.

In fact I used some of what HoHun posted over there to help fomulate a question I had about AH's mgff/m performance.

But thats here nor there considering you dont deal in online games but in historical performance.

Here you go - I add a couple of pics to the 'Tankbusters' article. The 40x158 is the Vickers, the 37x263B the BK 3,7
