Title: Failed to initialize

I cannot start AH II anymore and I get an error message "Initialization failed with -5 mainSN_failed-2"

 I'm running Win2K on Abit Kt7, SB PCI512(latest win2k driver), 15Gb HD, 640MB PC133DDR ram, and a ATI Saphire 256MB DDR Vid card with the latest catalyst drivers, and an artec CD burner.

 I was having trouble with the dar bars being black and I tried to update the drivers for the vid card and the machine choked because of a IRQ conflict, I have no conflicts now but it STILL will NOT fire up to play.......

...GRRRRRRRRRRRR...........

That is a sound card intialization failure.  Make sure your sound card is working in DirectX.  Start up DXDIAG (Start->Run->DXDIAG), select the "Sound" tab, run the diagnostics and/or note the messages in the lower portion of the dialog box.
