Title: New CTD
Post by: rpm on June 28, 2004, 08:39:45 PM
I had my clipboard open to adjust my radio volume. As soon as I clicked radio BAM! CTD. I have had CTD when typing also, usually after being shot down and trying to ".ef" to the tower. Heard a couple squadmates talk about CTD's when typing as well.

Oh no. I just learned something terribly disappointing.

I really enjoy flying w/ HotdgMn  but do not think rpm has a lick of political sense.  They are the same person??!!!!!!

Another ctd after being killed. When I went to the hanger, BAM!
I noticed my video cache was in the high 80's a few minutes earlier. Any possible connection?

I think I see a pattern here. Once again after landing (this time alive) I got the blank clipboard and radio bar. I checked and I was using 82 of 130 memory. It seems once I hit that 80mb level the glitches start. What do you guys think?

I just went back to square one and quit firing where I used to think I would get hits. Seems you need to fire higher trajectory now. I find a lot of sprites don't show up in close but I still get the hits registered. Evasive is a lot more fun now. Had a nit pony chase my LA-5 for 3-4 minutes 200 off my 6 and he couldn't hit ****. I took my 5 kills to the barn.:aok

It seems that the longer I play and change planes, the higher my used mem is. Then I get the ctd. I now log before I change planes, used mem drops way down, it seems to work for me. I am running an ATI 9600 XT 128 meg.

Seeing exactly the same thing at exactly the same time.
though it seems as soon as I hit 79 of 130 used weird things start happening. Tonight I opened up the clipboard for plane selection and the page with the plane list was blank. then couldnt close it. Right clicking did nothing. Text buffer showed nothing but the flashing text curser
