Really wonder why they are bothering with this technology...  the cards are so expensive to begin with....

Because of the bus bottleneck.  Why don't they just build the motherboard around the dual GPU's like they did with the soundcard.

If it lets you run the latest FPS at uber duber super high res, guys will buy it.


Then not run with all the detail so they can get 300 FPS! That makes the LEEt!
